Fruit Pie

Hello my friends….I wanna share the fruit pie recipe. For the crust I used recipe from Cooking With Chocolate Book. The crust is delicious and smell almond slightly. Yeah i love almond! And for the cream I used recipe from NCC. So this is the recipe :

*The crust :

– 120 gr butter, room temperature

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 90 gr confectioners’ sugar

– 15 gr ground blanched almonds

– 1 egg

– cake flour, divided as follows : 60 gr plus 180 gr

In a mixing bowl, soften the butter and mix with the salt, confectioners’ sugar, ground almonds, egg, and 60 gr cake flour. As soon the ingredients are mixed through, add the remaining flour and mix until just combined.Roll the dough to tart molds. Chill for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 15-‘-160’ C. Bake the pastry for about 15 minutes, until golden

*Vannila Pastry Cream:
-500 cc  whole milk
-100 gr  granulated sugar
-5  egg yolks
-30 gr    cornstarch
-1 tbsp butter
-1 tsp vanilli extract

Whisk together the egg yolks, cornstarch, and sugar until pale and thick. Bring the milk to the boil in saucepan. Mix in a little of the hot liquid to the egg combined with the dry ingredient. When it is thoroughly blended, pour it back inta the remaining hot milk. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. Leave it to simmer briefly, still strring constantly so that the cream does not stick to the bottom of the saucepan. It should become even creamier, most important, it should have a shine.
